Alaska Men's Conference

Practical, powerful, meaningful, uncommon insights into being an effective man of God.

The Alaska Men's Conference is a three day gathering held in March. If you are an Christian man, this event is designed for you. You will be strengthened in your spiritual walk,  and empowered to be a more positive influence in your home, church and community. Networking with other like-minded Christian Men in Alaska will be a high point of your experience.  There will be two opportunities to give offerings. One will be an honorarium for the speakers, and the other will be to support missions.

North Kenai Chapel underwrites the Alaska Men's Conference. We believe that it is essential that we support all Christians and the Church across the state of Alaska.

You can attend all or part of the conference. There are 130 registrations which include meals and lodging which cost $149.  There are additional options for part-time attendance that does not include meals or lodging. We encourage early registration.

AKMC is held in the winter of 2020 on a Thursday, and it will end on the following Saturday. It will be held at Solid Rock Bible Camp, which is located just east of Soldotna, Alaska.

Registration will be open in the Fall of 2019 as soon as the conference planning is complete.

Bill Pepper is not just a speaker, he is a “doer”. Involved in ministry at an early age, after Bible school, he was a missionary in Peru’s Amazon jungle for 13 years. That work has now grown to over 150 churches.  Bill has taken teams into 16 other countries and held campaigns of over 20,000 people. He also travels to dozens of countries, especially those with persecuted churches, to teach church leadership. Bill’s notes are being translated into several languages.

Bill also ministers on a domestic level. He is considered by many to be a “pastor’s pastor”. He is a highly sought after guest speaker, and churches throughout the U.S. ask him speak on missions and leadership training.  He also helps to oversee several stateside churches.

Paul Sliwa

Paul Sliwa, and his wife, Emily, lead Elevate Youth Ministry at the Wasilla Church on the Rock campus. Paul and Emily have been a part of Church on the
Rock since it opened its doors! They began their youth ministry the summer of 2016. They love adventure and exploring God's beautiful creation. Hiking, rafting, mission trips, soccer (for Paul), Photography (for Emily), and hanging out with students are all things you can find them doing.

Paul and Emily value investing their time and energy ministering to their students, and working with the young adults at the Wasilla campus. Their ministry focuses on helping people encounter God in a close and personal way, and teaching them how to live “epic” lives for Jesus!
